Doctolib is finding a Fullstack Developer to focus on our productivity software for doctors. You will be writing and deploying, secure, well tested code that helps a large number of healthcare professionals spend more time looking after patients. 40 million patients use our website or our mobile app to book a scheduled appointment with a nearby doctor.
Doctolib was built by it’s three co-founders in 2013, our two specialized co-founders Jessy and Ivan were the first Fullstack designers here. Like a fullstack developer you shall work like them, deploying code into production everyday, owning your own development decisions and creating a user focused product that rocks ! and helps millions of people.

Everything works on Ruby on Rails, supported by Redis and PostgreSQL. Front side, we wager on React and RxJS even for our mobile apps. Of course, we can make exceptions whenever we need to, so we likewise have a cluster of ElasticSearch and a bit of Rust in production for specific features.
We use sensitive health care data, so we must host our platform in a specific data-center with a failover datacenter. Our Fullstack designers work in small feature focused teams, focused on a specific challenge we are tackling. You are backed by Infrastructure, Security and Tooling teams to help you concentrate on what you do best, building features!

You will preferably have worked on high range high traffic websites and are accustomed to taking into consideration the user and taking possession of your code. What we look for is someone who is proactive, involved, curious and collaborative. You write test powered engineered code. We don’t mind if you have not worked in a ruby/react environment, if you are ready to learn, we are prepared to educate you on. You are expected to complete a research test and your code will be evaluated and discussed with you if it passes our tests.
This book club will work like the last one. Starting in January, on Tuesdays, the blog will includes a mixture of my thoughts along with visitor posts from you reflecting about how the book is useful in your own work. 1. Get your hands on a duplicate of the book in the next little while. 2. Read it (or a huge chunk of it). 3. If you are so motivated, fill out this two-question form to let me know you want to write a guest post or take part in a group dialogue about the book. I’m going to be looking for guest posters who represent different kinds of establishments, countries, and methods to the material.
You won’t need to be a museum or library professional to be eligible–just a good article writer with a fascinating perspective to share. In this case I’m particularly thinking about people who are in organizations that are trying to “sustain innovation” for some reason. 4.
